This Privacy Policy applies to Delaprompt (Pty) Ltd, operating at delaprompt.co.za. We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

1. Who We Are

Delaprompt is a South African AI content generation platform. For privacy queries: privacy@delaprompt.co.za.

2. What We Collect

We collect your name, email address, and payment details (processed by a third-party provider — we do not store card numbers). We collect usage counts for billing and quota purposes. We do not store the prompts you submit.

3. How We Use It

Your information is used solely to provide and manage your account, process payments, enforce daily usage limits, and communicate service updates. We do not sell or share your data for marketing purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

Our platform integrates with third-party services for AI generation, payment processing, and account management. These providers process data only as necessary to deliver the service.

5. Cookies

We use session and functional cookies. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics that identify you personally.

6. Security

Your account data is stored on secure servers with HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit.

7. Your Rights Under POPIA

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Email privacy@delaprompt.co.za to exercise these rights.

8. Children

Our platform is not directed at persons under 18.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Delaprompt, operated by Delaprompt (Pty) Ltd ("Delaprompt", "we", "us") at delaprompt.co.za. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Delaprompt provides AI-powered text, image, video, and paraphrasing generation tools, offered on a free tier with daily/lifetime limits and on paid subscription tiers with higher or unlimited usage, billed in South African Rand (ZAR).

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account, whether via email or a third-party sign-in provider (e.g. Google). You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You may not use Delaprompt to generate content that is illegal, infringes on the rights of others, is intended to harass or defraud, or otherwise violates applicable law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

4. Generated Content

Subject to these Terms, you own the content you generate through Delaprompt. Delaprompt makes no guarantee of the accuracy, originality, or fitness for any particular purpose of AI-generated output, and you are responsible for reviewing content before using it.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

Paid tiers renew automatically each billing cycle until cancelled. Prices are listed in ZAR and may change with notice. See our Cancellation Policy for how to cancel and what happens to your access afterward.

6. Free Tier Limits

Free daily generation limits (text and paraphrase) reset at midnight UTC. The free lifetime image allowance is a one-time welcome gift per account and does not renew.

7. Service Availability

We aim to keep Delaprompt available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Third-party AI providers we rely on may occasionally affect availability or output quality.

8. Termination

You may stop using Delaprompt and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or applicable law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Delaprompt is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform or reliance on AI-generated content.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Delaprompt after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

This policy explains how to cancel a paid Delaprompt subscription and what to expect afterward.

1. How to Cancel

You can cancel anytime from Account → Your membership, or directly via delaprompt.co.za/membership-cancel/. No phone call or email is required.

2. When Cancellation Takes Effect

Cancelling stops future billing immediately, but you keep access to your current paid tier's features until the end of the billing period you've already paid for. After that, your account reverts to the Free tier.

3. Refunds

Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable for partial billing periods, except where required by South African consumer protection law.

4. What Happens to Your Data

Your account, generation history, and settings are retained after cancellation — cancelling downgrades your plan, it does not delete your account. You can request full account deletion separately by emailing privacy@delaprompt.co.za.

5. Free Tier After Cancellation

Once reverted to Free, you keep the standard free daily text and paraphrase allowance. Any lifetime free images already used do not reset.

6. Re-subscribing

You can upgrade again at any time from Pricing.

7. Questions

If something looks wrong with your billing or cancellation, email hello@delaprompt.co.za before disputing the charge with your bank — we're able to resolve most billing issues directly and faster that way.
